      Isn't it kind of natural to try to ingratiate one's self with others? I mean, we're humans, we're social creatures, we need to be part of a group because of the very way we evolved.

      20 000 years ago, my lovely great-great (times a thousand) great uncle didn't get along with part of his little nucleus. He was subsequently kicked out of the tribe and was left alone to fend with a sabre tooth tiger. Bye, bye great-great (times a thousand) great uncle! You never had children and didn't live past the age of 16!
