The English word Mummy is derived from medieval Latin mumia, a borrowing of the medieval Arabic word mūmiya (مومياء) and from a Persian word mūm (wax), which meant an embalmed corpse, and as well as the bituminous embalming substance, and also meant "bitumen".
Yes. You mentioned meditation involves death on many levels. You have point when you say eternal life (living forever sounds horrifying. I would much rather cease to even exist at some point than exist forevermore).
My question is how to get over the fears affiliated with very serious meditation. I am not there and will not be there for many years to come, but surely there are times when the fear affiliated with something as eye-opening as deep meditation can prove to be too much.
Just like Reiki. And you have people like myself who simply run away like Brave Sir Robin.
@paulojose See, I really wanted to die for years. You'd think someone willing to grab a gun and shoot themselves between the eyes wouldn't be afraid of death. Death would be nice.
But this is a different kind of death. Not just "lights out" death. Something deeper and more terrifying.
If we wanna talk via this show, we've all been desperate souls at some point. Even little Pinocchio, who is practically inmortal, never tells the truth and lives under a false name.

- whether pinocchio would say : "my nose is growing", a paradox would appear...
Haven't we already lost our souls? Some of us?
