Isn't Asian food filled with soy? From edaname to soy sauce to many other foods and sauces. It's literally a base in many Asian cuisines.

Imagine someone in the farways Polynesian islands claimed potatoes turns your hair green or something. Imagine you live there too. Wouldn't you think "why are all the people from that far away place in the world who eat potatoes aplenty not afflicted with green hair?"
It would be a serious consideration.
If it were true, a whole portion of the planet would have been affected by this for thousands of years. That lady made run out of hands to facepalm with. Honestly did.
