Castiglione was an incredible influence on the Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong emperors. He worked as their court painter and the Qianglong emperor utilised his abilities when decorating and designing his retirement home. He reigned between 1735 and 1796, although he died in 1799. Qianlong did not want his reign to last longer than his legendary grandfather's (the Kangxi emperor's) reign.

This man also studied with the Count of St. Germain, a mystic, genius musician and conman who hid his identity due to being raised in a hostage situation similar to Vlad III's. Perhaps why he claimed the title of "count"?
He was raised in the court of the Medicis, under the care of Gian Gastone de Medici, brother of Anna Maria Luisa de Medici, who was the last living Medici.
Is there even a link?
His ability to speak Latin would later mean the signing of the Treaty of Nerchinsk with Russia over the Amur river in 1689 was possible. The Kangxi emperor was also the mastermind behind the Kangxi dictionnary, still in use in China to this day.
His affiliation wth Jesuit priests and Western thought also meant that he was the first emperor to have a comprehensive map of China created.
This is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Like King Arthur. Like Oedipus and Laius. You know, they do everything to keep the prophecy from coming true. (Laius was terrified of the prophecy and what did he do again?)
