I'd seen a few of his talks on the past. In one of them he claims that the Necromomicom by H.P. Lovecraft provides a legitimate story and will allow the reader to access other dimensions.
That being said, what do you think of what he has to say about aliens?

The Church isn't exactly a holy institution either, mind you. Ignatius Loyola and the Jesuits? The only reason Catholicism exists is because THAT particular doctrine survived and was victorious during the early Middle Ages/late antiquity. There were many others and wars were fought and they were defeated.
Let's also remember that Catholicism isn't exactly akin to what Jesus taught, although it is supposed to be. Supposed to be.
It seems any great institution is always corrupted, humans are much too ambitious and desire too much power.

Let's not make the Catholic Church or any Church out to be something holy. It isn't, none of them are, and it's pretty obvious why.
