    Cat
To see a cat in your dream symbolizes an independent spirit, feminine sexuality, creativity, and power. It also represents misfortune and bad luck. The dream symbol has different significance depending on whether you are a cat lover or not. The cat could indicate that someone is being deceitful or treacherous toward you. If the cat is aggressive, then it suggests that you are having problems with the feminine aspect of yourself. If you are afraid of the cat in your dream, then it suggests that you are fearful of the feminine. The dream may be a metaphor for "cattiness" or someone who is "catty" and malicious. If you see a cat with no tail, then it signifies a loss of independence and lack of autonomy. Seeing two identical cats in your dream means that you need to balance your own needs with the needs of others. You need to remember to take care of yourself and not always worry about others.

To dream that you cannot find your cat highlights your independent spirit. You need to allow yourself to be free and not let anyone or anything hold you back. To dream that a cat is biting you symbolizes the devouring female. Perhaps you are taking and taking without giving. You may be expressing some fear or frustration especially when something is not going as planned. To dream that you are saving the life of a cat implies that you are reclaiming your independence and power. Dreaming of a cat without a body or any legs symbolizes limited independence. You are being mislead into thinking that you have the freedom to do whatever you want. To see a black cat in your dream indicates that you are experiencing some fear in using your psychic abilities and believing in your intuition. You may erroneously associate the black cat with evil, destruction, and bad luck. In particular, if the black cat is biting, clawing or attacking you, then the dream means that you must acknowledge what your intuition is trying to tell you. You can no longer ignore it. Do not be afraid to face the situation. If you see a white cat, then it denotes difficult times. To see a cat with green spikes suggests that jealousy is preventing you from forming meaningful relationships. You are keeping your distance from a situation or relationship. To dream that a cat killed a spider suggests that you are expressing your femininity in a seductive and cunning manner rather than in an overtly and almost destructive way. To see a dead cat or hear a cat being killed implies that you are lacking autonomy and independence in some area of your life. Alternatively, the dream means that you are refusing to recognize your feminine power. To see cats playing in your dream refers to your frisky nature. You need to show your playful side. Dreaming of thousands of cats running around in a house indicates a lack of direction in your life. There is too much going on in your life that you are losing sight of what's important. http://dreammoods.com/cgibin/dreamdictionarysearch.pl?method=exact&header=dreamsymbol&search=cat

  • The Day of the Jackel

"The novel The Day of the Jackal is about a fictional attempt to assassinate French President Charles de Gaulle on a particular and specific date, a 24-hour calendar day.

"The Jackal" is the code name of the assassin who is the main character of the book and movie.

The day was July 14, the most important national holiday in
France. The "Jackal" chose that day for his attempt because he knew
that de Gaulle would make public appearances that would make him
    vulnerable to sniper fire.

Had the assassination by the professional hit man code-named "The
Jackal" been successful, that particular 24-hour calendar period in that
particular year would indeed have been The Day of the Jackal.

Thus, "day" in The Day of the Jackal means, literally, a time period of 24 hours lasting from midnight to midnight, in this case from the end of July 13 until the beginning of July 15.

No extended meaning of a general period or prevalence or ascendency,
other extended or metaphorical meaning, or alternative translation is
necessary or appropriate. It's as appropriate as substituting "hyena"
or "fox" for "jackal"—the French word for the small canid called in
English a "jackal" was the code word used by the assassins employers.
The employers did not call him (in French) "the hyena," "the fox," or
    anything else.

The novel covers a longer period, from the suspicion of a plot to
assassinate someone through the investigation and attempt to apprehend
"the Jackal," but the whole point of the story is what might happen or
is going to happen on the day of July 14"

  • Life is nothing more than a soap-opera about a bunch of crazy cult leaders and their domesticated pets?
  • The CIA has programmed many of their New Age slaves to adore Shirley MacLaine. An example of this is Christa Tilton, one of their mind-controlled slaves, who revealed in an interview how she considered herself a born-again Christian who had spent most of her life in Oklahoma, but had mysteriously been drawn to Shirley MacLaine. During her life she has gotten repeated “psychic urgings”--that is strong urges to do things and go places, which she doesn’t understand where these urgings came from. After hypnosis, Christa drew pictures of the doctor who programmed her. Christa has had a federal agent monitor her constantly. Her husband has seen this agent, who has shown up on her door step and made calls to her. She names the agent John Wallis (most likely a cover name). This agent has a complete knowledge of her life, and government agents have taken photos of her during her supposedly “alien abduction” experiences. Christa is just one of hundreds of victims who have been programmed to adore Shirley MacLaine.

  • Not all life, but in the higher echelons of life, it definitely seems to be so.

Sometimes life is just sitting in a corner and eating popcorn. There's that, too, but nothing is ever as innocent as it seems.

  • Zombies eating popcorn belong to the lower echelons of society. Surely (Shirley), they don't count? That isn't living.
