      Music is a form of art can be used therapeutically.

      To say it's a form of magick makes me want to roll my eyes back. It could be used in magickal rituals but that what's not music is at all.

      It certainly has been used in that way in the past but magick is kind of a really bad thing to dabble in.

      LUNA, sorry - i haven't been HERE earlier... music & cyberspace are both forms of magic, as far as I know... i can't expand... &, magic is not a bad thing... depends on the user... user - get it? = for example, some masters were able to make flowers grow from a seed in just a few minutes, one master - & i think Paramahamsa mentioned this - was able to bring dead birds back to life for few minutes... let's remember transfer of counsciousnes' ...

      &, music is basically sounds = vibrations... a harmonyk' "lineage" of sounds creates harmony... &, therapy - means bringing health back = inner harmony of mind, body and soul... = magic

      tibetan mantras are an example , aoum = om - supreme mantra of hindu yoga... it's - if YOU better corelate this with a scientific understanding - all about frequency ... each frequency is a vibrational level ... simple & NATURAL

      &, it seems to be very relaxing ... pure therapy ... &, some guys hear other-realms/spheres music... like Beethoven.
      Jean Michel Jarre has create his music by having humans connected to devices & when the brain indicated alpha-waves states = meaning relaxation he has put that together and ... voila, his music...
