But the most important thing is realizing what, who and where we are today. I, for instance, remain an outcast somehow maladapted to
today's industrialist and technological society.
I'm a pianist. Do you know how well music and the arts are viewed by most people educated in the Prussian system (in other words, everywhere; our modern system is based on the Prussian system established in 1763 by Frederick the Great)? Artists are totally outside the system. Especially serious musicians. Get a real job, they say. I work harder than you ever will, and fuck you, I say.
This world wants engineers and business people, period. It's an industrialist world. Engineers are wonderful people, and business is an interesting field, but there needs to be more than just two kinds of people in the world. The education system we have build insists upon having everyone build or trade things. But what if you're not interested or good at either?
I studied a completely different area than anyone (even my own family) expected. They thought my interests were hobbies.
I was always an outcast as a child and as an adolescent, an odd specimen hovering around what were considered normal people. And in my early 20s, I'm still an outcast (but now by choice).
So that's where I am.
And the question is; WHERE, WHO and WHAT are YOU?

I have yet to find a life as a male. It may be why BS have alluded to my 'penis envy'. ;) I do see there are a number of lives of trying to play at 'male' roles though. An aspect of my karmic consciousness it seems?
