The truth can sometimes be very difficult to perceive and there may, in fact, be many sides to many occurences. However, stating something so preposterous as to claim that the truth is of little consequences is very nefarious.
Even IF what shapes our actions is not what is true but what we believe to be true, the truth still holds a great place. And someone who places appearances above facts is a great manipulator and nothing more.
Such a person has more in common with the father of lies than with good common sense.
