  • Ism - A word used as slang for marijuana.

  • The first recorded usage of the suffix ism as a separate word in its own right was in 1680. By the nineteenth century it was being used by Thomas Carlyle to signify a pre-packaged ideology.

Carlyle's reincarnation is found among the actors who appear in the movie Trainspotting.

  • Hikikomoris are trying to flee the realities of existence. We have to work, we must expand our living space and become the masters of ourselves. We can't hide forever, else we will become very mad. Life is hard and the world is a cold place for sensitive persons. I sometimes think that the world is very hostile.
  • Mademoisele LUNA, j'etais inquiete... je suis tres content de vous revoir ICI

LEFTIUS ... no comment = world, like a forest, is perhaps supposed to be populated by some species of predators ... which i'd gladly learn how to become a hunter just for the thrill to extinct such species ...

Ferz later appears to have returned as my current biological father. In between 1888 and 1932, I have no idea what he was up to. To try and find that out, my supposition would to begin looking around something to do with military and beginning of the war. IF he has returned again already, I suspect he's relearning how to walk and talk.
  • I suspect this is also one of my current  father's incarnations...

  • CB, you said that aparently Ferz returned as your biological father...Were you in fact answering my question and not adressing ferz at all?

Thoughts and conclusions have NO meaning. It is the process of deduction, itself that needs investigating.

  • Gnosis (false equivalence) is a trap because only a Sith deals in absolutes.
  • So thought is false, a trap. What is left as a way out, the correct process, intuition? Aparently. Intuition comes out of nowhere and is allways correct, that´s what gnostics told me. Until now nobody proved to me that such an afirmation was unfounded or incorrect. It implies complete lack of control over the mental process, no reasoning, we just have to wait for the answer to fall from the sky. Intriguing, interesting, alluring way of seeing things, but I would like to know how it works.  Where does intuition comes from and why it is allways correct.
  • Thought is a tough pickle to overcome.

Having problems just overcoming a biased viewpoint. *sigh*
  • Intuition? Is it really intuition? Or more like an idea (back to the realm of thought?) I mean, don't people like Mr. Semkiw and New Agers rely on supposed intuition which produces nothing other than, pardon my manners, bullshit?
  • @paulojose

My mistake. Crossed posts. Fritz...not Ferz...
  • If intuition tells me something is correct and in fact it proves to be correct then it is. I don´t see always what is in my mind as being intuition or just a thought I had, the first is aparently allways correct the second one it may not be. The intuition flashes unfortunatelly don´t come with ringing bells to my chagrin...
  • The ability to KNOW something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning? Or the The ability to UNDERSTAND something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning?

“Any fool can know. The point is to understand.”
    ― Albert Einstein
  • It's a Socratic paradox: if the only thing you know is that you know nothing, then how do you actually *know* that you know nothing?

  • The ASTRAL realms - the realms of thought and emotion belong to the DARK side.

  • @Brian
    You explained! Thanks!
