Most of us here can truly only speak from experience, so, unfortunately, I must recall my own life experiences.
When I was in High School, my therapy sessions cut into my school times so I had to switch schools in order to graduate.
For quite a long time I would haunt the stairs by the fourth floor (the eating quarters) where I would sit in front of my books for hours without accomplishing anything (mostly Japanese books) or crying for hours.
It should be obvious why we all have that innate helplessness to us. We have been here thousands of times and perhaps, quite subconsciously, we are truly quite tired?
Everyone talks about this (my) generation in particular. This world is a very materialistic world, built upon principles that really do not exist but that we have created.
Also: people on this forum seem to loathe liberals and/or socialists.
I remind you the right is no better. In fact, it is worse. Who gave you the right? (No pun intended!)
The people who gave you the Crusades, Creationism, the anti-suffrage movements and anti-abortion movements! Not to mention SLAVERY! And racism. And Nazi Germany. And burning witches at the stake. The list goes on, really.
Is it really communism (which I will remind everyone here is NOT the same as socialism. Bernie is making a fund. A fund to send you to college so you learn the goddamn difference between socialism and communism) or fascism we should demonize? Or is it just human nature? And you know, avarice and nepotism?
Admit it! Humans are cunts! We're helpless little shits, ideology doesn't seem to help general decency that much, then, if we all agree that both the right and the left suck? Aren't we just blaming schools of thought for our stupidity?
Do you honestly believe Chiang Kai-shek's anti-communist movement (remember he committed genocide!) was any better than Mao's communist movement? They were both horrible!!
I'm pretty sure Communist Russia never entered Socialism before its descent into a horrid dictatorship.
Cuba might be an example, Castro was internationally championed before becoming a communist maniac, for he increased the well-being of the Cuban people before enslaving them.
Ha! Here's an idea that might be interesting. The past lives and perhaps present of those terrible Communist leaders. Mao, Castro, Pol Pot, Lenin, etc. That might shed some light. Although I'm sure someone like Pol Pot is probably in a state of limbo for all the heinous things he did.
Political and historical events result from the conflict of social forces and are interpretable as a series of contradictions and their solutions. The conflict is believed to be caused by material needs.
Socialist Realism was the official artistic movement of the U.S.S.R. It was attached not only to the revolution but to the forward momentum of the communist ideology and Soviet apparatus.
World dictatorship can be established only when the victory of socialism has been achieved in certain countries or groups of countries ... [and] when these federation of republics have finally grown into a world union of Soviet Socialist Republics uniting the whole of mankind under the hegemony of the international proletariat organized as a state.
The "Isms", socialism, comunism, liberalism, fascism and so on were created to replace religion. They said"we have the solution for your problems, follow us". All isms are lies. It was the result of a decadent society that only deals with material matters and that ignores spiritual issues because they are aparently non existent. God, Jesus, don´t exist according to the new priests of materialism, only material needs exist and have to be satisfied, they have the answer. It´s massive stupidification, the battle left-right is a huge lie. The elite controls both sides. A politician is a professional liar, the first rule of political speech is to say whatever is adequate to promote what he is saying, to convince who is listening, if it is a lie it doesn´t matter. This society has to end, it´s a source of infinite suffering, the promoters of the isms have to be banned and they will be but meanwhile we have to endure them, just don´t believe them. It´s hard to do because we are addicted to hope and the rulers know that.
"A man of progressive and relatively liberal ideas, Albert not only led reforms in university education, welfare, the royal finances and slavery, he had a special interest in applying science and art to the manufacturing industry.[66]"
"The heroine was not merely the eldest daughter but the most fervent disciple of Prince Albert, whose liberal ideology coloured her thoughts till the day of her death"
CB, the emperor of Germany for a short time, was your husband in the XIX century, he seemed to be a worthwhile person, caring about others. Do you know who he is now?
"The Akashic Records reveal that Himmler was the reincarnation of many heroic figures such as the dragon-slaying hero, Seigfried, Charlemagne, Peter the Great and Prince Albert!"

This has been a rant.
China. Emperor Puyi. Then Sun Yat-sen tried to usher in democracy via a republic. Then his fascist protegé became leader, Chiang Kai-shek.
Then Mao took over after the Japanese tried to take over Manchuria, and Chiang did nothing.
Taiwan also become somewhat communist, even if it was more like a fascist dictatorship.
Cuba might be an example, Castro was internationally championed before becoming a communist maniac, for he increased the well-being of the Cuban people before enslaving them.
And he never really killed in the name of communism. He did so because he was a eugenicist, there was no political ideology attached to it.

Maybe. Maybe not?
