How can a person search for truth when their motives are corrupt?

Is there such a thing as a person without corrupt motives?

Let me guess. Deprogramming?

But everyone who has been "deprogrammed"
who I have dealt with still seems to have corrupt motives to a certain extent, so at what point does all that break down and leave us with nothing?
We can't seek truth because we are literally corrupted?

Spiritual teachers would require pupils who had SOME capacity for learning. Since most do not, these so-called teachers would simply devolve and become monsters, again. According to former Crowley student Dr. Israel Regardie, a Reichian psychotherapist and occultist, Aiwass represented the deepest, most abysmal part of Crowley’s own mind, which is common to all life, mammal, insect, and all, deeper than either Freudian or Jungian unconcscious.
