Was it not just original sin that was repaid? Because karma is everything and everything is karma. See, if I hug you that has consequences. You'll think I'm weird because I never met you before and what is this strange little woman doing she needs a shrink. See? A consequence. Karma.
Or another piece of consequences. I had this huge craving for Taco Bell. So I had Taco Bell and wouldn't you know it!? Explosive diarrhea. Consequences! Karma! Yes? No? Yes? No no?
I'm sorry Christa, I see your point loud and clear. I guess maybe I'm confused now. :( @Brian (sorry) What is the difference between consequences and karma? Genuinely asking, sorry it's a dumb question.
How would you know how anyone would react if you gave them a hug? Preconceptions can only give you clue. Prior experiences with some can help with others...but you are not in that person's head to know what they will think, nor in their consciousness to know what they will actually do.
You can only know your own preconceptions. Why keep your consciousness in such a box?
That's true, Christa! I have no idea how you would react and yes, we are all limited by our preconceptions. Which is why belief systems are limiting and so forth! Thanks!
A thread to find later incarnations of Queen Victoria would logically lead to following Prince Albert...because she could not let go. This would also apply to why they ended up together in that incarnation as well.
Christa, you have a point but I'm pretty sure that Therese Von Bayern never let go of her own Albert, Otto of Bavaria. However, I'm in no way related to him in this life. There is something more at hand.
I have nowhere near as much experience in meditation and have experienced and know very little because of my laziness. I wonder why @Brian has never told me off for my obvious lack of discipline... That's another tale and unrelated. However, I'm still confused as to what karma is. Also, who says you choose who you are around in each life? I mean, technically you do and should....

Karma can then also been viewed as a manifestation of what we have not consciously let go of...
Just becasue you can not figured out where all the threads attach and go to does not mean they are not still connected.
