Everyone always says there's a different side to every story. But this is where discernment is important; we sometimes bullshit ourselves so badly we come to believe our own bullshit and our perception is played like a banjo by our ego.
This is why discernment is important? Someone is very much twisting the truth to make themselves look a little more sympathetic.
